54673 – Mia
Why choose me? I remembered Mia as soon as I saw her, and she remembered me. She came bounding out of the back of her kennel and was thrilled to see an old friend. Mia had been adopted from ACCAS earlier this year, and she was the same sweet dog I remembered. She sat next to me on the picnic table enjoying pets and being close. Her coat was soft and well-cared for. When I got home, I looked up her old bio and read that she had originally been nervous and always going to the gate like she was ready to go home. It also said that she could climb fences. Mia wasn’t nervous today, but after we visited for a while, she did go to the gate and stand and look at me like she was saying it was time for her to go home. I bet Mia is a wonderful companion. Hopefully, she’ll be reunited with her owner, but if not, she’ll bond with a new family. I don’t know if she can still climb a fence but being inside with her loved ones would probably suit Mia just fine.
