54435 – Rosko
Why choose me? Update 10/19: When I walked by the interaction pens, Rosko and Lola were having the best time running together along the fence. I entered Rosko’s pen to watch the fun, and he happily trotted over to greet me and then was off to continue his game. I threw him a toy, and he ran to show Lola. When both dogs needed a break, Rosko showed me how well he could sit for treats and what a sweet, well-behaved boy he was. He is a good dog who’s smart, handsome, and ready for fun! Rosko was somewhat timid when I initially approached him. When he finally let his guard down and approached me we entered the interaction pen he initially ran toward me and plopped his head in my lap and absolutely loved having me pet his head and neck. As I pulled my phone out to take pictures, I found that Rosko was startled by sudden movements. It took me a few minutes to gain his trust back, but I got him back on the leash and we walked the perimeter of the interaction pen, he started to trust me and we were best buds again. He let me crouch down and pet him and loved to sit in exchange for treats. He really is a very sweet and gentle boy.
