54099 – Copper
Why choose me? Copper is sad to be at the pound. I’m sure all of the noise is a lot to take in, so he prefers finding a place to curl up (preferably shady) and melt into his surroundings. I couldn’t get him to walk on a leash, and he had to be carried. I’m sure that will change once he feels safe in his own home. Still, although he was frightened, he’d let me pet him and that seemed to ease his worries. When I moved to another side of the picnic table, he moved to join me, so I felt like he wanted to be with a friend. He’s a sweet, gentle boy who needs a calm, loving home where he can thrive.
