53313 – Roscoe
Why choose me?
Update: We have learned more about Roscoe’s medical condition. His bloodwork came back great, other than the diabetes. We have started him on a low sugar (diabetic) diet; if he is kept on it and given his insulin as needed (every 12 hours), there is a reasonable chance his diabetes will resolve itself. He’s a friendly guy and would be a good candidate for someone looking for an easy cat, as long as they are willing to give him insulin shots twice a day (very easy to do) for at least a while. Roscoe is also in a shelter foster home! To learn more about this great boy or make arrangements to meet him for adoption or rescue, please call the shelter at 706-613-3540.
Roscoe is a stunning Maine Coon with long, lush fur and beautiful light green eyes. He is very calm, gentle, and affectionate. Though he’s only 6 years old, Roscoe is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice a day. This special boy hopes his forever family is out there looking for him, just as he is looking for them. Rescue groups are highly encouraged to save this lovely guy!
