Update 3/24: Scoundrel is now in a shelter foster home! To learn more about this great girl or make arrangements to meet her for adoption or rescue, please call the shelter at 706-613-3540.

Poor Scoundrel came to the shelter as a cold, wet stray, who had been living on the dangerous streets. You can tell that she’s not really cut out for that kind of life. Rather, she is looking for a loving person or family to adopt her into a warm, relaxing home. Black cats oftentimes have trouble getting out of the shelter – especially adults. Scoundrel tends to hang out in the back of her kennel, but she’s a loving girl, and she doesn’t seem to mind the presence of other cats. Simply open her kennel door, offer some head scratches, and she will begin to purr and make biscuits for you. Scoundrel is looking forward to living her best life in a home of her own!
