Update 3/22: Kadar is in a shelter foster home! To learn more about this great girl, or make arrangements to meet her for adoption or rescue, please call the shelter at 706-613-3540.

Update 2/26: Check out Kadar’s new glamour shots! She looks gorgeous in her photo shoot, thanks to one of our talented volunteer photographers, who captured some stunning photos, where you can see that Kadar loves life! All she really needs to be happy is a sunbeam or a sunny windowsill in which to lay. As you can see, Kadar is a relaxed kind of girl who likes to chill. She’s already spayed, coexists well with other cats, and has no problem being independent while you are away from the house – a low-maintenance kind of lady. We are hoping you’ll notice her, because she is one of the shelter’s longest cat residents. This gorgeous girl definitely deserves your attention – won’t you be the one to invite Kadar to live with you?

Update 2/7: Kadar is still waiting to be discovered and appreciated. She is spayed and ready to go home with the “right” person. Go visit her and see if you meet her standards!

What an adorable lady! Kadar is a gorgeous cat with a textbook definition of torbie patterning on her coat. She has swirls of coloring that looks like a tortieshell/calico and other patches that are tabby coloring. Her giant, green eyes are observant of her surroundings and she almost “points” like a dog when she sees something interesting! Kadar was surrendered to the shelter by her former owner. Her former owner stated that Kadar likes people but does not like other animals. She can also get overstimulated if she is pet too much. Kadar was sweet with me, and I enjoyed spending a bit of time getting to know her!
