Update 11/12: Everyone, meet Jack the wonderdog!!! Look at all he can do!
He is currently in a foster home but is available for adoption from the Athens-Clarke County Animal Services!
Aside from being a super handsome fella, he also has some special talents….
✅Jack not only walks well on a leash, but is also teaching other dogs proper leashed walking etiquette.😮 (see video)
✅He is also housetrained and crate-trained!⚡️
If you’ve been thinking of adding a dog to your family, consider Jack. His fosters had this to say about him:
“Jack has learned how to shake and we are now working on lying down. He LOVES playing with other dogs(big and small) and loves snuggles on the couch. This dog is so amazing and deserves an incredible forever home!”

Update from Jack’s fosters: Hey everyone in the Athens, Ga. area! My roommates and I have been fostering the sweetest dog, Jack! He’s looking for a great home and would love to meet you. He’s crate trained & potty trained. So good with people, other dogs & loves a good head scratch.

Update 11/1: Jack is the BEST house guest! He is the sweetest bean and was lovely in the home. He was just too fond of cats (but hey, we love them too!) so no cats in his home! Jack is house trained and crate trained. He’s gotten the taste of home and is eager to get back to the comfort of a couch or dog bed!

Jack is back 🙁 Jack was adopted about a month ago and we don’t understand why he is back. He is such a happy cuddle bug. He enjoys playing, knows sit, and just loves any attention he can get. He seems upset to be back and my heart truly goes out to him. But, he doesn’t let being back alter his mood too much. He still loves people. He met a dog through the fence and wagged his tail. I hope he finds a real permanent home soon because he deserves it.
