•she is a mixed breed and pretty small, maybe 40lbs
Update 11/18: Hennessey put on a show for me today. I knew she liked playing with toys, but today she was tossing a stuffed duck and doing all kinds of leaps and dance moves in the air as she played. She was quite the entertainer. She’d trade the toy for a treat, I’d throw it, and she’d continue her antics. Hennessey is a sweet, fun dog who’s still waiting for her special person to find her.
I first met Hennessey in the lobby of Animal Control. Some good Samaritans found her in the middle of a busy street and brought her to safety. She greeted me right away happily wagging her tail. I liked this sweet, friendly girl immediately. Hennessey loves pets and attention, but she wasn’t a fan of the camera today. As long as it was down, she gave me all of her attention, but as soon as I raised it, she’d play “look away.” Honestly, it became a game for her; I’d lift my camera, and she’d look away even (I think) with a hint of a smile. Well, that was okay, because you can see her pretty profile, and that she has a cute little underbite. Hennessey is a sweetie, and she can probably come up with some other games to play with a new family!
