52427 & 52428 – Elijah & Rebekah
Why choose me?
Update 10/20: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Elijah is now neutered and Rebekah is now spayed!
Elijah & Rebekah came to the shelter as very terrified strays. In their first week at the shelter, they hid 24/7 and tried to avoid interaction with people. Rebekah, the calico kitten, came around to human affection first, and now Elijah, the black and white kitten, is also learning that not all people are bad. Rebekah has a unique almost checkerboard patterning on her back. She is already a fan of people and will flop and rub on you asking for pets. Elijah takes a bit more time to warm up, but if you take it slow and gain his trust he is a very sweet little guy. Even as fearful as they both were at one point, they never once tried to bite or scratch. At only 3 months old, we expect them both to be friendly, outgoing kitten in no time! We are hopeful that someone will adopt them together as they have been through a lot together already.
