52148 – Hades
Why choose me?
Update from Hades’s Doggie-Day-Out 7/31: Hades enjoyed the afternoon out with a volunteer today, and boy, did he need it. He’s having a hard time adjusting to life at the pound after being surrendered. He truly misses his family and being with a special person today really lifted his spirits as you can see in his truck ride picture. This is what his volunteer had to say:
Hi!! My name is Hades!
I’m desperate for a foster or adopter!
– crate trained
– don’t have separation anxiety
– love cats!
– love kids!
– love other dogs!
– love riding in the car with my head out!
I can even sit!! Give me a chance! IM AWESOME! Names Hades, but I’m the nicest angel you’ll ever meet! ❤️
Hades has a story that is heartbreaking. His family abandoned him because a new baby is on the way. I imagine Hades once felt like the family’s baby which would explain why he was worried and confused today. He was always friendly to me, but he stayed at the gate wanting to go home. I’d walk him to the shade with me to pet him and try to comfort him, but as soon as I removed the leash, he was back at the gate. I thought for a moment that Hades would feel better when Kyra tried to get him to play at the fence. He liked her and was interested but then returned to the gate. Hades will probably feel more like playing tomorrow. He’s a handsome, sweet boy who’s house trained, crate trained, and good with kids, dogs, and cats. Hopefully, he’ll find a forever family who loves him–one who’s deserving of his love and devotion.
