51451 – Buster
Why choose me?
Update 5/15: No more hiding for Buster! He loves having fun in an interaction pen. If he’s not playing at the fence with another dog, he’s with his human enjoying back scratches and being loved on. I used to call him Buster Brown, but now I call him Buster Love. He’s a well-mannered, happy dog who’s a real sweetheart!
Update 5/13: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Buster is neutered and up-to-date on his basic vaccinations!
When I first saw Buster in the lobby, I had to say, “Wow!” He’s such a handsome dog. He’s also sweet but was terrified after just being surrendered to the pound. He hid beneath the picnic table in the interaction pen, so I sat on the bench next to him, and he inched closer to let me pet him. I noticed that he was curious about Duke in the pen next to us, so I went to the fence to offer Duke treats, and Buster came over to join us. They hit it off and started running and playing together. When their play ended, Buster would visit with me and enjoy pets, but when he’d see his new friend at the fence, he’d run to join him again. It was great seeing Buster have fun! His former owner said Buster is good with kids and was allowed to roam freely in the house. He’s a sweet dog ready to meet more new friends!
