51065 – Dozer
Why choose me?
Update 3/9: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Dozer has been neutered and brought up-to-date on his basic vaccinations!
Dozer was worried about being at the pound, but he was nothing but gentle with me. He’d lived with his former owner since he was a pup, so it’s understandable that he’s confused about being here. Dozer might look tough on the outside, but he’s actually very submissive. I petted him and told him what a good boy he was, and that seemed to ease his worries. Then he met Daffy at the fence. At first, he was scared, but she didn’t give up, and instead of barking at him to get his attention, she waited for him to approach her. They touched noses and Dozer relaxed. Dozer lived with other dogs and is house trained. He’s a sweet dog who could use some kindness and love in his life. Presently, Dozer is only available to rescues because he was afraid of getting a vaccination during his impound. Once that’s taken care of he’ll be available for adoption as well as rescue. (Note: He’s now up-to-date on his basic vaccinations!)
