50977 – Ruth
Why choose me?
Update 3/1: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Ruth is spayed and up-to-date on her basic vaccinations!
Ruth seemed kind of scared at first when I first met her. It took her a few moments and a few head rubs later to earn trust! She let me put the leash on her with no problem and wanted to stop and say hey to the other dogs in the other kennels on the way to the interaction pen. She walks very well on the leash. She loves chin scratches and being told she’s a good girl! She’s a very sweet, calm soul who loves attention. She doesn’t mind treats even though she is uncertain if she likes it at first. She did so well modeling for the camera and knew how to sit most times when asked. I played with her some and she grew a little tired, so I took her back to the kennel. Although she had a tough time wanting to go back in. I know the poor baby was scared and didn’t want to be left alone. She admired the attention I gave her and finally gave in. I didn’t leave without letting her know how good she is and giving her a treat! She deserves a great family who will give her endless belly rubs!
