50658 – Charlie
Why choose me?
Charlie is a big, sweet, brown tabby boy (my favorite!) who came to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. While he looks like an adult, he’s actually only about eight months old, so he’s still got a lot of kitten playfulness, and best of all, he’s already neutered and microchipped so that he can go home with you as soon as he’s adopted. I visited with him briefly before a potential adopter came by to meet him and took him into the interaction room. He had a blast playing with her and he loves chasing cat toys, especially fishing poles. He’s definitely an athletic cat who would be great in a home with kids or other animals to play with. We don’t know for sure whether he lived with other animals in his previous home, but he seemed unphased by the other cats in the shelter. So if he’s as stoic as he seemed, he should acclimate well to most any home. In further kudos, he was very tolerant (although he did not like it one bit), when I (a total stranger) attempted to get him to wear cute holiday headgear including antlers… so if that doesn’t mean he’s a great cat, I really don’t know what does! There’s not much time left before Christmas, but Charlie (Brown) here would LOVE to go home with you for the holidays!
