50633 – Tasha
Why choose me?
Update 12/29: Tasha is a smart girl and has some training in her past–she knows how to shake, for example. We know her prior person cared for her and it seems like he worked with her on some training as well. If you’re looking for a well-mannered, low key pup, you should meet Tasha!
Update 12/18: Tasha is SUCH a lovebug! She’s friendly to dogs and people, and very polite–taking her out is very nice and relaxing. She has some lumps and bumps but don’t be scared off–they’re mast cell tumors and most are easily removable, though recovering her from removal in the shelter would be a challenge. There is no sign that anything has spread to her kidneys or spleen (the most likely places), she is already spayed, and she tested NEGATIVE(!!) for heartworms, so she’s as healthy as a lumpy, bumpy older girl goes. We have x-rays and bloodwork done that we are happy to forward along to any interested adopter or rescue!
Tasha is such a fun girl! I was taking pictures in the rain, but she made it so worth it! She has an outgoing personality. With a little encouragement, she breaks out of her shell and is ready to play in no time! She softly took treats and explored her interaction pen. She is such a lady. She never pulled on the leash and responds very well to verbal commands! I think she would make a great workout buddy or play mate! She’s very go with the flow. Tasha deserves the best life ever and I can’t wait to see who is lucky enough to adopt her!
