50564 – Jett
Why choose me?
Update 11/17: Jett had a great time playing in an interaction pen today. He chased a few stuffed toys, loved playing fetch, and would come to me for scratches and treats. While he feels more comfortable beyond his kennel, he still hides in the back when you try to take him out. Ask someone to help you at the desk. He’s a super sweet boy, and you’ll both have fun. I learned today that Jett lived with a chihuahua and a pug, Missy, who was reclaimed. It’s nice to know that he’s good with other dogs!
If Jett looks a little wide-eyed in his pictures, it’s because he’s frightened at the pound. He doesn’t know what to make of all the barking. The more time we spent together, however, the more comfortable he became, and he even made friends with Rocky and Midnight in the adjoining pens. Jett is a sweet, mild-mannered pup. He quietly sits for treats and takes them gently. He also didn’t mind when I picked him up to sit next to me on the picnic table. It was good seeing Jett’s tail untuck and begin to wag. I imagine it won’t be long before he forgets about the pound noise and happily waits at his gate for his next new friend!
