50546 – Gingerbread
Why choose me?
Update 1/11/19: Gingerbread has now been spayed thanks to the Athenspets Spay/Neuter Fund! This means that she can go home as soon as she is officially adopted.
Gingerbread has a beautiful, dark tabby coat and will immediately impress you with her good looks. But when you stop by to meet her, you’ll see that she’s still pretty scared to be at the shelter. But staff and volunteers have been working to help socialize her and get her used to being handled. She’s very gentle and isn’t aggressive at all, she just tends to cower when someone new stops by to pet her. But what I love about her is that after you’ve pet her for just a minute or two, she calms down and clearly starts to enjoy the attention. All Gingerbread needs is a little TLC and a consistent person or family that she can live with and grow to trust. Could you give this sweetie the home that she needs?
