50269 – Honeysuckle
Why choose me?
Meet the cat shelter’s most senior lady, Honeysuckle. Estimated to be around 10 years of age, Honeysuckle recently arrived at the shelter as a stray. It’s quite obvious that she has spent much of her life in a home, because she’s well-fed and cared for. It can be particularly devastating to older cats when they end up in a crowded shelter, with all of the strange sights, loud noises and weird smells… not to mention a bunch of cute little kittens that people tend to adopt first. Oftentimes people overlook senior kitties, but we want you to see that Honeysuckle is very healthy and has a great many years ahead of her! It’s not surprising that Honeysuckle is grumpy at the moment – more likely she’s a bit depressed. What she needs, is a compassionate person or family who will invite her into their home. Honeysuckle’s favorite pastime is to lounge around, so we know she will make a loyal couch companion in a quieter, less active household. All she needs now is a relaxing place where she can thrive during her Golden Years!
