50254 – Bandit
Why choose me?
Update 9/21: Bandit was adopted but returned. His former owner said he’s very sweet but barked when he was left in his crate, and since he lived in an apartment, that wasn’t working. He tried leaving Bandit alone in the apartment but still being a pup who hadn’t learned new rules yet, he had a tendency to chew on things. Bandit is no longer the timid dog who first arrived in July. He’s an outgoing, playful boy who loves to run, play with toys, and have a blast with a water hose. He’s a good dog, and hopefully he’ll find his perfect match soon! He’s now neutered and up-to-date with his basic vaccinations!
Update 8/17: Bandit hasn’t gotten a whole lot of attention here mainly because he’s a little shy… until you break out the hose to fill his pool! He’s a young loving lil’ fella, and obviously has a very playful love of the water hose. We have several ‘water babies’ here at the shelter, but Bandit tops the list as the most excited of them all when it comes to water! If you want to know more about Bandit, stop by the shelter and meet this handsome fella.
Bandit is a sweet, submissive boy who was happy to join me in an interaction pen. When I first raised my hand to pet him, he was quick to crouch to the ground, but when he realized I only wanted to pet him, he rolled over for a belly rub and started wiggling. I soon learned that Bandit loves showing his tummy for belly rubs. He knows how to sit which leads to lying down and a roll or two or even three. Bandit is so cute! He’s also house trained and crate trained. I hope Bandit finds a new home soon. He’s a sweet, happy dog who’s hoping for lots of love and belly rubs!
