50029 – Sophie
Why choose me?
Update 8/2: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Sophie has been spayed and brought up-to-date on her basic vaccinations!
Sophie is a sweet, beautiful dog. The first day that I took her out, she had just been surrendered and wasn’t too sure about being at the pound. She spent most of her time watching other dogs or waiting at the gate probably hoping that her family would come back for her. She welcomed scratches along her back, but it was obvious that she was missing her loved ones. Today, was a different story! Sophie’s tail was wagging when I stopped at her gate, and she was thrilled to walk with me to an interaction pen. She had fun playing with toys and running with Braelynn at the fence. She’d also run to me when I called her. It was good seeing Sophie so happy. Her former owner said she’s house trained, good with kids, and lived with cats. I hope Sophie finds a new family to love. She has lots of tail wags and good times to share!
