49540 – Sadie
Why choose me?
When I walked up to little Sadie’s kennel gate, I had to coax her to come to me. She was very shy, and I am pretty sure she just got on the scent of something and ended up getting too far from home. I got inside her kennel, put the leash on, and she walked with her head down by all the loudmouths, who seemed to scare her a bit.
Once we were in the interaction pen, she sniffed around real good, was not interested in my treats, (most likely because she was brand new to the shelter, and still nervous), but she was interested in Samson who was next door. She happily greeted him, then came over to me and plopped down in my lap.
She loosened up a great deal in the short time I was with her, and I would be willing to bet that Miss Sadie has a family out there looking for her, and if they aren’t, with her sweet little gentle and loving demeanor, I bet she wouldn’t have too hard of a time winning someone over.
