49369 – Scrappy
Why choose me?
Update 7/18: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Scrappy is now neutered and up-to-date on his basic vaccinations!
Update 7/10: Kids from Teens in Action spent time with Scrappy, and here’s what they had to say: Scrappy is a very energetic and super happy dog. He has a great smile and loves toys–especially ropes. Scrappy is playful and can be funny and goofy. He gives kisses and loves humans A LOT! He could be a family dog.
Scrappy had just been surrendered when I took him out for pictures, so he was at first a little nervous about being at the pound. Pets and kind works quickly won him over, and soon Scrappy was enjoying himself. He actually became so comfortable that he tried to hop in my lap, but a 60-pound lap dog was a little too much, so he was fine with just putting his front legs in my lap as I petted him. Scrappy was surrendered because his former owner could no longer care for him and take him for walks. Scrappy is an active dog and going for walks is a favorite pastime. He also likes to run but definitely makes time for being loved on. He’s already house trained and waiting for a new home where he and his family can enjoy playing outdoors, going for walks, and cuddling!
