49323 – Maggie
Why choose me?
Update 5/18: Maggie was adopted but returned. She’s as sweet as ever, but it turns out she was too energetic for her adopter. If you’re looking for a dog to share your active lifestyle, come meet Maggie. She’s ready for that next hike you’re planning!
Update 5/1: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Maggie has been spayed and brought up-to-date on her basic vaccinations!
Maggie is a sweet girl who is enjoying running and playing again now that her puppies are weaned. She was a hunting dog, but got up to more than hunting one day when she was out and about. Her puppies have found homes, so Maggie is now looking for a family of her own. She seems to like other dogs, baying and playbowing to Pebbles, and might be housetrained (she keeps her kennel clean and didn’t have accidents in the home she was in for a few days before coming to the shelter). It was hard to get Maggie to stay still long enough to get good photos, she was having such a great time exploring and making new friends when I had her out. She’s a sweet and good-natured girl who is now hunting for her forever home.
