Why choose me?

Update 5/15: Cheech and Chong are doing better every day. Today it was all about tummy rubs, and they loved them almost as much as treats. They’re also getting the hang of walking on a leash. While Chong doesn’t hesitate to leave his kennel, Cheech is still shy so you might need to ask for help in getting him out. Once he’s in an interaction pen, it’s all good! Come have fun with Cheech and Chong!

Cheech and Chong are playful, adorable brothers. They were shy in their kennel, but once they were in an interaction pen, they had the best time frolicking in the sunshine. Chong was ready to trust sooner than Cheech, but Cheech started following his brother’s lead. Both would take treats and chase toys. It doesn’t seem like their former owners spent much time with them. Besides being wary of new people, they haven’t learned about walking on leashes or sitting for treats. The good news is that they’re still young and can learn. They also love treats, so that should help. It was fun watching these boys playing happily and loving life. I imagine it won’t be long before they’re greeting people at their gate ready for new friends. Cheech and Chong don’t have to be adopted together, but what they do need are adopters who will love them, care for them, and teach them what they need to know to be happy, confident pups!
