49266 – Rollin
Why choose me?
Update 6/28: Rollin has come a long way since the first time I met him. He’s still a happy, energetic boy who loves to run, but no longer do I have to keep reminding him of his manners. His favorite thing to do is race with dogs along the fence line. It’s a good way for him to get his energy out, and he seems to like other dogs. He was dog tested and did well. But, he also likes being with people, and it made me smile the first time he put his head under my hand wanting to be petted. He even joins me in the shade and puts his front legs in my lap wanting attention–of course this is after his races with canine buddies! I hope Rollin finds his forever home. He’d love to be someone’s best friend.
Rollin is a happy, energetic dog. He couldn’t wait to leave his kennel, and when he finally had his turn he ran and ran. As it worked out, his turn came during the heat of the day, but that didn’t keep Rollin from enjoying himself. After galloping around the pen, he liked being with me, but he needs to work on his manners. Rollin is so happy to get attention that he jumps up on you, so “Down!” was a command we started working on. Rollin has lots of smiles to share and energy for outdoor activities–he just needs someone to help him funnel that energy in appropriate ways.
