48809 – Sloth

Why choose me?

When Sloth first arrived at the shelter, staff immediately noticed that his right back foot had evidence of a pretty serious injury… and it reminded people of the paw of the three-toed sloth.  After further investigation, it’s believed that Sloth had been bitten by a venomous snake at some point.  It’s a miracle that he survived, and that the wound has healed up so well on its own!  Sloth now happily moseys around the shelter, with no limp at all.  He’s very friendly and loves to be petted, but he almost never holds completely still.  He seems just fine with other cats and doesn’t have a problem with the clamorous shelter environment.  Sloth is a social, yet independent dude.  This happy young guy is just waiting for you to adopt him into your home and into your heart… he’ll be a low-maintenance housemate for sure!
