48801 – Oreo
Why choose me?
Meet the shelter’s eldest cat resident: Oreo. She was recently surrendered by her previous owners at the grand age of 14 years old. Yep, you heard me right – 14 years old!
Oreo has a beautiful medium-to-longhair coat of fur. Understandably so, Oreo has not adjusted very well to the shelter environment. She is, however, quite friendly once she gets to know you – but just imagine for a minute, being a Super-Senior kitty, who had been so comfortable, living the in same familiar home for so long, and then suddenly being moved to a loud place, with a bunch of strange cat smells! No wonder Oreo has been hiding out in her tunnel bed, trying to block out the unfamiliarity of her shelter kennel. Oreo does likes to be petted around her face, and eat Temptations treats, but right now what she really needs is a compassionate person to adopt her into a new home. With a little TLC, we are certain that Oreo will be able to relax and enjoy life once again.
You’ll notice in Oreo’s photos, that she is missing part of her right ear. This must have happened a long time ago, because any wound has long since healed up, and we think the short ear adds to her charm! We know that this Super-Senior lady really wants to sit near year you and share her “life story”, by continuing to live happily during her Golden Years. She’s no trouble at all – a quieter lady who likes to spend her time relaxing – so please consider opening your heart and your home, to help this deserving older lady, today!
Oreo is currently located in a quieter room at the back of the shelter (because it’s more relaxing for her there), but please inquire with shelter staff – they’ll be happy to introduce you.
