Why choose me?

McGregor came to the shelter originally during then end of August 2017. He was adopted with another outgoing kitty, Chia, in late January 2018, but was returned to the shelter on 2/3/18, because he was afraid in his new home. There was a little too much going on, with 4 kids and a dog. McGregor is definitely still a social, energetic cat, but it’s understandable that a cat can be unhappy in such an extremely active household. We still believe he’d do fine a a house with fewer children, and no dogs; we know that he does well with other friendly cats! The good news is that McGregor didn’t seem to mind returning to the shelter, as he was not afraid at all, even on the day that he returned. People were already playing with him in the Interaction Room. We are hoping McGregor can find a suitable new home soon. We feel like he’ll transition easily into a new place, as long as there’s a quiet place for him to retreat to when he feels like it. McGregor is a really fun, playful guy, so consider adopting this jovial young man today!
