Why choose me?

Update 2/9/18 – Thanks to the Athenspets Spay/Neuter Fund, Caramel is now spayed and ready to go home with you!

This lovely young lady received her name when we noticed the stunning caramel colors in her very unique coat of fur. Caramel the cat is also as sweet as the candy treat! Though she came to the shelter as a stray, Caramel is incredibly loving, and doesn’t look like she’s been out on the streets for too long at all. We are certain that she’d much prefer to live in a home of her own, rather than struggling in the cold, dangerous outdoors. Did we mention what a beauty she is? Caramel’s coat color is what is known as “tortico”: tortoiseshell (mixed black and orange), with the white of a calico on her chest and feet. She’s even wearing the cutest white socks! Caramel spends her time looking out the window and seeking human attention. She doesn’t seem to mind the presence of other cats. We’d bet that she’s set on making herself a lap cat, once she’s settled in her furever home. Will you be the one to adopt Caramel into your warm, loving home today?
