48319 – Chelsea
Why choose me?
Chelsea is soft, sweet, and terrified at the pound. She spends her day on her bed in the back of her kennel, so I had to have help taking her out. I also had to carry her to the interaction pen. Once we were there, I held her and tried to help her feel more comfortable. She was as sweet as she could be and never tried to leave my lap, but as soon as I put her down, she hid beneath the picnic table. I saw a twinkle of interest from Chelsea in watching other dogs, but she wasn’t ready to meet them at the fence. I’m sure that if more volunteers and visitors will spend time with her, she’ll come around. When I stopped at her kennel later in the day, she was back on her blanket on her bed. When she saw me, I actually saw a few tail wags, but she wasn’t quite ready to come out on her own. Chelsea an adorable puppy who needs a home where she feels safe and loved.
