48249 – Dream
Why choose me?
Update 12/1: Dream has tested NEGATIVE for heartworms!
Update 11/28: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Dream has been spayed and brought up-to-date on her basic vaccinations!
Update 11/24: Dream and Bear are both both starting to enjoy their time at the shelter, interacting with volunteers and staff and learning how to be puppies and play. Watch them here.
Dream and her buddy Bear are sweet but terrified pups. Previously living in an outside kennel, full of mud and with no place to escape from strangers, all they know to do is bark and ask anyone scary to stay away. Crouch down, though, and offer them a gentle hand, and they cautiously come forward, taking treats and exploring a bit. Dream is a little more comfortable at the shelter than Bear is, willing to meet new people slowly and to walk on a leash with some gentle encouragement, but they both still need some time to understand that their lives have changed for the better. Both would do great in a fairly quiet home with another stable and confident dog or two, to show them the world isn’t so scary.
