Update 1/29/18 – Rodney and Ruxin are now healthy and available for adoption once again, located at the front of the shelter. Come meet these cuties today!
Update 1/15/18 – Rodney and Ruxin have come down with a URI, so they’re currently in the back, getting medical treatment. We’ll update you as soon as they are feeling better and available for adoption again.
These two kittens are unrelated but have become fast friends as they’ve grown up in the shelter. They came in when they were only 4 and 5 weeks old so they had a lot of growing up to do before they would be big enough to be adopted. And we’ve found that pairs of kittens tend to do so much better than singletons; it’s always good to have a buddy! But these two do not need to be adopted together. They’re both friendly and inquisitive (as you can see when we introduced them to Christmas lights). They’re now big enough to be adopted, and they’re hoping that they’ll have a home in time for New Years! They are currently in the back of the shelter because we don’t have space for them up front, but they are ready to go home with you so just ask shelter staff for a chance to meet them and they’ll be happy to introduce them to you!
