47881 – Jorah
Why choose me?
Update 11/5: Wow! Jorah has gained 20 pounds since coming to the shelter–and that’s a good thing! When he arrived, he was emaciated (on a scale of 1-9 with 4-5 being healthy, he was a “2”), but now he is a happy, bouncy pup. His skin has also healed from his previous demodex and his hair is growing in nicely. While he had a rough start to life, that’s now all in the past!
Update 11/1: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Jorah is now neutered and up-to-date on his basic vaccinations!
To Jorah, happiness is having a toy. He loves them and kept one with him most of the time we were together. He even preferred a toy to a treat! I don’t think Jorah had a very good life before coming to Animal Control. He was thin and his hair was sparse. Now, he looks great and is so happy. I imagine the toys he plays with at the shelter, are the first he’s ever had. Jorah also seems to like other dogs–he and Elmer run together at the fence and have a blast. They’re best buds and light up when they see each other. Jorah also lights up when you praise him. He’s a great pup who’s sweet, happy, and fun. Now, he just needs a great home!
