47497 – Barnaby
Why choose me?
Update 9/18: If I want to chill for a while, I know that Barnaby is happy to join me. He’s a good-natured dog who gets along with everyone he meets. Give him some attention and toss a few treats his way, and he’ll give you that great Barnaby smile wagging his tail all the while. If you’re looking for an older, easy-going dog to be your new best friend, Barnaby would love to be your dog! He’s been here a while, his coat looks much better, and he’s still waiting for his special person or family to love.
Update 8/3: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Barnaby is now neutered and up-to-date on his basic vaccinations!
Update 7/24: Barnaby is heartworm negative!
Barnaby is an easy-going dog. He’s missing hair on his back and tail probably due to a flea allergy, so I imagine he came in feeling awfully itchy, but now that he’s been treated, he’s likely feeling a whole lot better. Barnaby was friendly from the get-go and glad to walk with me. He enjoyed taking a stroll around the interaction pen and was friendly when other dogs stopped at the fence to meet him. He’s an older dog who seems to take things in stride. Barnaby likes treats and pets and will smile when you give him attention, but he’s not needy–he knows how to entertain himself. It would be nice if Barnaby could find a new home where he’ll be properly cared for and loved. He’s a sweet boy who’s happy for any love you give him.
