47357 – Binx
Why choose me?
Update 8/8: Binx and Indy are playmates who are at that delightful tweenager stage, all loose legs and happy grins! (8/25) And now his new best friend is Haley! They can only play together if a staff member is present, but if things are quiet around the shelter while you are visiting you can ask if it’s a good time for a play date!
Update 7/14: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Binx is now neutered and up-to-date on his basic vaccinations! He has also tested NEGATIVE for heartworms!
Update 7/11: Binx’s cuts are healing nicely, and he looks great! This little guy is all about having fun, and he makes the most of his time in an interaction pen whether it’s playing with other dogs at the fence or running to me for pets and treats. When he’s ready to cool off, Binx heads for the kiddie pool. You can almost hear him say aahhhh as he slides into the water. Binx is a happy, playful pup who’ll make you smile!
Binx is one of those wiggly puppies whose wag starts at his neck and travels all the way down his body, and by the time it gets to his butt it’s outta control! Just watching him wag his tail is entertainment in itself. When Binx is in his run he’ll stand at the door, wagging and sqeaking whenever somebody walks by. He wants out so bad! (He still has a puppy squeak.) So he looks a little nutty, but when you get him out and he has a chance to run around a little he settles down – at least for a few minutes! When we had him out in the interaction pen he had a great time playing through the fence with Marti, who is about his age, but twice his size. Binx was found running stray, and he has a whole lot of little cuts on his face and front paws. Why they are there is a mystery, but it might have something to do with barbed wire. Ouch! But these cuts are nothing more than scratches, so they will heal fast. This silly, nutty guy needs a family to keep him safe and loved!
