47314 – Haley
Why Choose me?
Update 8/25: Haley and Binx are now playmates! They can only play together if a staff member is present, but if things are quiet around the shelter while you are visiting you can ask if it’s a good time for a play date!
Update from another volunteer 8/1: Haley sat very patiently in her run and had the sweetest look in her eyes, like she was trying to convince me to take her out! She is a big ball of happy playful energy. Haley LOVED playing with the toys in the interaction pen. She was eager to make the most of every moment in the pen! As playful as she was, she was also calm enough to sit for treats. Haley has a very playful and eager-to-please personality.
Update 6/30: Thanks to donations to the Spay/Neuter Fund, Haley has been spayed and brought up-to-date on her basic vaccinations!
Haley is a happy puppy, always in high spirits. Getting her to slow down for pictures and a video involved some hugging and collar grabbing, because left to her own devices, Haley liked to run up to us for one quick kiss and then bound off, looking for other forms of fun in the interaction pen. Since she’s a young, active pup who has to spend most of the day and night in a run, it’s no wonder she’s got energy to burn when she comes out. There is one sure way to stop Haley though – treats! Haley sits very beautifully for goodies, so she may have even more skills hidden away in that puppy brain. She also must have a good home, because she is in terrific shape. Her tuxedo coat practically sparkles and her whites are very white! Once Haley is in a real home where she can have regular exercise, and toys and activities to stimulate her brain, she’ll no doubt idle at a slower setting. But she’ll always be a fun gal!
